Every year, the beauty industry stands together to raise funds for hunger relief in America or abroad. Hairdressers, students and clients nationwide participate in the efforts for this worthy cause. This year a local beauty school, The Salon Professional Hair Academy, held a fundraiser to benefit those affected by disaster most recently in Puerto Rico.
I was happy to join other local businesses in donating items for their raffle. I put together a Christmas gift basket that included 6 Christmas stockings, a plate and milk jug for Santa, chocolate chip cookie mix in a jar, the Santa Clause movie, reindeer food, and a Gooseberry Patch Christmas cookie recipe book.
The gift basket turned out pretty cute! In fact, I think it would make an awesome gift for a family. I will be writing a post on how this basket was put together in case you want to make one this Christmas for someone special.
