Halloween is just about here and I wanted to share a pudding recipe that the kids will love. Actually, the parents will love it too.
These Pudding Dirt Cups with Oreos are so easy to make and is the perfect dessert for Halloween. My granddaughter absolutely loved it and she even enjoyed the fancy cup it was placed in. Of course, for a kid's Halloween party, you can place the pudding in plastic cups. The cool whip in the pudding makes the dessert very light and fluffy. Crushed chocolate cookies (for the dirt) contributes to the over-all enjoyable dessert....I found myself searching for the crushed cookies at the bottom of the cup! The gummy worms adds a fun touch.
Pudding Dirt Cups Recipe
2 cups of cold milk
1 pkg JELL-O chocolate flavor instant pudding
1 tub of cool whip (8 oz) thawed
1 pkg (16 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies crushed (Oreo)
8-10 (7 oz) cups
Pudding Dirt Cups Instructions
Pour the milk into a large bowl and add the jello pudding mix. Beat until well blended. Add the cool whip and mix well until fluffy. Add 1/2 of the cookies and blend well. Place 2 tablespoons of the left over cookies into the cups, then fill the cups ¾ of the way full. The remainder of the crushed cookies will go on top of the dessert. Decorate the top with the gummy worms. Refrigerate the dessert for 1 hour. Enjoy!
